Meet The Professionals
Lori WernsmanLori is the Owner and President of Spring Brook Farms, LLC. She has 32 years experience as an educator teaching Special Education and Family and Consumer Science for 16 years and working as a Professional School Counselor for 16 years. She loves animals and has years of experience training and riding her horses and training, loving and breeding dogs. She has combined her professional and personal education and experience to focus on activities, lessons and therapies assisted by her animals to serve others.
She is certified as a Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning by PATH International as well as being trained in Therapeutic Horsemanship by Parelli Foundation, EAGALA and Natural Lifemanship and has studied a variety of horsemanship educators' work including; Pat Parelli, John Lyons, and Clinton Anderson since 2000. It's been her dream to work with horses and to serve others in Equine Assisted Programs since 2005. She is so excited that it is happening now! Sharon SamsellSharon considers herself a holistic health practitioner with a love for people and animals. Her journey in the healing arts includes formal training as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Ordained Presbyterian Minister, and Certified Healing Touch Practioner and Instructor. She has over 30 years experience working with individuals, couples, families, and children of all ages with all levels of abilities. She has provided services in a variety of settings including outpatient and inpatient centers, residential treatment facilities, prisons, colleges and churches.
Trained in multiple counseling theories as well as integrative healing modalities, Sharon’s approach to counseling is client centered and holistic. She has experience and training in Family Systems, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, LGBT issues, Trauma Focused Treatment, EAGALA, and Natural Lifemanship. Along with Lori, she combines all of the above to offer individualized services that cross the spectrum from fun to experiential to educational to therapeutic.
