Mini Donkey and Horse Assisted Activities at
Spring Brook Farms

Our program provides opportunities for motivation, education, or recreation to enhance the quality of life. Animal Assisted Activities - AAA  are delivered in a variety of environments by specially trained professionals, paraprofessionals, or volunteers in association with animals that meet specific criteria. (Mini Donkey and Mini Horses available.)

Where o Where Can the minis be? Anywhere!

The great news is that this program can be held most anywhere and with any age of person.
A group can visit with the minis at Spring Brook Farms or they can travel to your site. The possibilities are endless: libraries, preschools, schools, art classes, nursing homes, day centers, churches, farmer's markets, birthday parties, abuse shelters, etc.

WHO CAN WE VISIT? ANYONE!

People of any age can benefit from animal assisted activities. Any size of group can also be accommodated.

What WILL WE DO? ANYTHING!

Activity ideas are endless. If it is safe for the horses and the people then we are open to discussing your idea and creating a perfect activity for your group. I have some ideas described below.

Visiting and Interacting

Sometimes just visiting,  hanging out with or petting a mini can be recreational and motivational not to mention exhilarating or maybe even calming. Q and A is also a very interesting time!

Horse Knowledge cowgirl style

We can be dressed in western attire and be eady to discuss basic knowledge about horses, including caring for them and interacting with them.

Art has no limits

Does your group need assistance in getting their artistic juices flowing. Let our minis hang out with them to encourage your budding artist to paint or draw their own vision of our little equines.

Sparking writing, Reading and Literature

Let our minis inspire your group to read stories about horses or even write their own. We can visit during writing time, library time or literature class. This would be a great program for a library also.

Themed Birthday Parties

Let our minis bring special joy and be memory makers at your next birthday party whether it is western, fairy, pegasus, dinosaur or maybe magic themed.
